The MS84 also known as AZF4576 can be crossed to the Lester number 30230. The 12-volt starter is well-known to be used on JCB applications, most notably the Backhoe loaders such as 2Cx, 3Cx and 4Cx models, respectively.

It is quite compatible with JCB diesel engines and it is excellent for cold crank capability with low current draw from the battery. It has the basic protection against ingress of dust, solid foreign objects and splashing water. The 4,2kW starter is made in Slovenia and it is highly regarded for its quality and durability through harsh operating temperatures of -30°C to +100°C.
