The Thermo King B-100 Refrigeration Unit has been installed on many of the Ford Transit Connect vehicles. This refrigeration upgrade allows this van to be used for transporting flowers, fruits, foods, vegetables and baked goods. It is being used by florists, restaurants, catering companies, and other food carrying organizations.
When this refrigeration unit is installed on the vehicle the alternator needs to be upgraded to the Thermo King Alternator #41-9492. This is a 230amp 12volt Leece-Neville Alternator which has dual internal fans and is rated for temperatures up to 125 Celsius.
